Bellevue, WA Chevron You Fail Me

by Tran, Harry ~ August 16th, 2009. Filed under: Car Maintainance.

Well maybe not, I was doing a fill up yesterday at a Chevron station and right after I filled the tank up and turned my key the engine died out as if there was no gas in the car. Now I don’t know why this happened but it took a few minutes for my car to get itself together and start and stay started.

Well whether it is my fault or the gas quality there is lame, I don’t think I will be filling up there again. I mean as a consumer we all run into bad scenarios with merchants don’t we? And we tend to shy away from those that were absolutely horrible. This one is chalked up as a bad experience for me.

Anyways, on to my gas mileage. I went and purchased 9.31 gallons of gas. I went ahead and plugged the numbers into my handy GasDandy and got a result of 36.5 mpg, this definitely is a step down from my previous mpg reading which was somewhere in the lower 40s, but definitely not a bad sign. O yah I would have some pictures of my receipt up but the station didn’t have any receipts either!
