I Just GasDandy’d My Trip To Vancouver
by Tran, Harry ~ July 13th, 2009. Filed under: Car Maintainance.During the weekend I went from Seattle, WA all the way up to Vancouver, BC, Canada. Yes that is right, I crossed the border over to our neighbors in the North. It was a pleasure trip and it was for the most part a relaxing trip full of dining and sight seeing.
The trip was great, I was able to go to Stanley Park which was amazing, it is this nice park which is surrounded by water as if it were its own little island to the North of Vancouver. Than we went to Downtown Vancouver and was shopping busy, with people who seemed to be from all over the world hanging out there. It must be a really nice tourist city because I recognized some people from all different languages and cultures.
So the entire trip used up one full tank of my gas, which is perfect, I filled my car up right before the trip and didn’t have to fill up again until today and it was a complete fill up that I needed today.

Yeah it definitely looks like my tank is at empty.
So I plugged my numbers into GasDandy and guess what? All that highway miles I did on the I-5 gave my car a good 37 MPG average for the entire trip, and that includes the slower traffic that occurred while I was at the border check and during the slower drive in Downtown Vancouver.
If you’re ever curious as to how much you spent on gas while driving you should definitely check out GasDandy I highly recommend it to anyone, especially with the free trial they provide for first time users.
