This Week In Gas Usage Summary
by Tran, Harry ~ June 24th, 2009. Filed under: Car Maintainance.I noticed that this weekend I did a bit more driving than usual, and had to get a fill up earlier than my usual 10-14 day interval. But none the less here it is, my driving and mileage stats for the fill up that I entered into GasDandy my handy mileage tracker:

Well looking at the results the good news is that due to my freeway miles I did manage a lovely 38 miles per gallon during this fill up, although gas was more expensive due to the Summer season driving and gas ended up costing $0.08 cents a mile one penny higher than my previous fills I must say I am satisfied with my results.
As you can see, I love to keep track of the gas mileage on my vehicle. I find that by keeping a steady tally of my mileage it will help me save money by keeping me more conscience about my gas usage. If my gas mileage were to ever decrease drastically it is also a sign that there may be an underlying issue with my car, and I may need to have the vehicle inspected, or possibly tuned up. But I couldn’t do any of this without keeping accurate information regarding my mileage and GasDandy helps me take care of it all in an easy to use simple to install application.
