It’s Fill Up Time Again, $1.79 per Gallon!
by Tran, Harry ~ May 5th, 2009. Filed under: Car Maintainance. So it was fill up time today. I decided to go down to Safeway to fill up my gasoline today, it was especially nice when I was able to use my rewards card and save .60 cents per gallon off the price of gas. I’ll explain how that works at another time, but let’s just say gasoline was $1.79 instead of $2.39 which was written on the banner.
Today I got the following:
9.272 Gallons
Cost $16.68
And according to GasDandy after plugging in my odometer reading I was able to get 33.66 miles per gallon, this was a definite improvement over last fill up where I got 32.95 miles per gallon. This isn’t much of an improvement but it definitely lets me know that my gas mileage is consistent and not dropping like I had originally feared two weeks ago.
If you haven’t tried out GasDandy what are you waiting for it is free to try and definitely comes in handy as a gas tracker and a maintenance tracker for your vehicles.
I was in a hurry and in an attempt to save on paper, I just decided to snap a few pictures instead of writing down on a receipt. Here are the photos:
