It Cost More to Be Poor

I was reading this article about the price the poor pay in order to actually be poor and the statement that Chris Rock made in the movie Head of State came to mind, the statement goes a little something like this:


That Ain’t Right
“How many of you workin’ two jobs just to be broke? Let me hear you say ‘That ain’t right!”‘ (And they do.) “How many of you workin’ in cities you can’t afford to live in? Cleaning up hotels you can’t afford to stay in? We got nurses working in hospitals they can’t afford to be sick in… That ain’t RIGHT!”

It is definitely one of those gems of an article for people to take a look at that delves into why some people are always down on their luck.
