Got a Fill Up with 33 Miles Per Gallon According to Gas Dandy
by Tran, Harry ~ April 21st, 2009. Filed under: Car Maintainance, Rants n Raves. It has been two weeks since my last fill up on the 7th of April, and this time around it appears that my mileage per gallon has gone down by 1 mpg. I can’t say that this is a big shift in a negative direction but it is a good piece of information to know, this might mean that I should run a little bit of maintenance on my car during the weekend to figure out if anything is out of sequence. I might want to use this to check my tire pressure as it can attribute towards mileage loss.
Great information to use from GasDandy indeed, to maintain the health of my car.
Here are my Quite Facts:
Gallons purchased – 9.16
Price – $21.44
Odometer – 124164
Well to make things easier on myself I was finally able to get a receipt out of the pump station this time, and I went ahead and scribbled down my odometer reading on the receipt (shown below).

With that information I was able to push out the following data from GasDandy.

One last note I would like to make and that is that I ended up paying $21.44 this time around for about the same amount of gasoline as last time, yet last time I paid $20.79, the price of gas definitely went up a bit these past two weeks.
