The heartbreaking picture of the polar bears with 400 miles to swim to the nearest ice

Polar Bear in Icey Water

This is truly sad news for me to hear that these polar bears are losing much of their land, they are saying that these bears are having to swim 400 miles to the closest piece of ice for them. Not to mention there are probably plenty of other polar bears that scientist did not discover yet who may have to make the horrific journey. I don’t know if these bears will make it that far with the elements against them and possibly some predators who aren’t too shy to take advantage of an exhausted bear.

But the message probably will get worst because as the ice caps are melting away because of all the harm we are doing to the environment (Yes, I do think that we contribute to the decline in ice caps but I do not exactly know which source is causing it. Just speculation that it may be from the pollutants.) the message is clear there are animals who are losing their homes, and imagine reaching land in 400 miles only to, I would imagine, have to do it again in a few months and possibly swimming 800 miles because the ice isn’t reforming as quickly each year.

We must all remember to do our part next time we become wasteful because creatures are losing their homes as a result of it, maybe you don’t believe exhaust fumes are the cause of ice melting but regardless the fact is 400 miles in a car takes at least 6 hours, imagine having to swim that distance.
